The 340B Drug Discount Pricing Program is a federal program that helps patients access the medications they need at a lower cost. Through this program, Brooklyn Plaza Medical Center works with participating pharmacies to provide significant discounts on prescription medications, making healthcare more affordable and accessible for our community.
What is the 340B Program?
The 340B Program is designed to ensure that people, regardless of their financial situation or insurance status, can afford the medications they need to stay healthy. By partnering with pharmacies, we’re able to pass on savings to our patients, reducing out-of-pocket costs for essential drugs.
Think of it as a way to make your healthcare journey less stressful and more manageable, so you can focus on what matters most—your health and well-being.
Am I Eligible for Drug Discounts?
You automatically qualify for 340B drug discounts if:
- You are a registered patient with Brooklyn Plaza Medical Center (BPMC), and
- Your prescription is written by a BPMC doctor or dentist at any of our locations, and
- You have one of the following types of coverage:
- Medicaid Managed Care
- Another private health insurance plan
- No health insurance
Good News: You don’t need to worry about your income level or immigration status—everyone who meets the above criteria is eligible.
Note: If you are covered under straight Medicaid, you do not qualify for BPMC’s 340B Drug Discount Program because your Medicaid plan already covers low-cost prescription medications.
How to Get Started
